Joshua is a senior at Bloomfield High School in Bloomfield, Connecticut and plans to attend Temple University in the fall. He is the son of Anabela A. Campelo of Bloomfield, Connecticut. His family traces its ancestry to Portugal.

The Portuguese Foundation, Inc. has selected Alaina Hallisey of Stonington, Connecticut, to receive a scholarship award. Alaina is a senior at Stonington High School in Pawcatuck, Connecticut and plans to attend college in the fall. She is the daughter of Michael J. Hallisey. Her family traces its ancestry to Sao Miguel, Azores, Portugal.

MARY HELEN POMBO

The Portuguese Foundation, Inc. has selected Mary Helen Pombo of Wethersfield, Connecticut, to receive a scholarship award. Mary Helen is a graduate of Wethersfield High School and a sophomore at St. Joseph's College majoring in international studies with a minor in French. She is the daughter of Olinda R. Pombo of Wethersfield, Connecticut. Mary Helen's family traces its ancestry to Setubal, Portugal.

RACHEL SHUTTLEWORTH

The Portuguese Foundation, Inc. has selected Rachel Shuttleworth of Ledyard, Connecticut, to receive a scholarship award. Rachel graduated from Ledyard High School in Ledyard, Connecticut and currently attends the Hartt School of Music, Dance and Theatre at the University of Hartford majoring in vocal performance and music education. She is the daughter of Richard and Mary Shuttleworth of Ledyard, Connecticut. Rachel's family traces its ancestry to Sao Miguel, Azores, Portugal.
